On first glance, the Christian worldview and the humanistic worldview of Star Trek would seem to have nothing in common. After all Star Trek takes place in a future when religion has essentially vanished from Earth. In that case, how can there even be a "gospel according to Star Trek"?

In this episode of Standard Orbit, hosts Ken Tripp and Zach Moore are joined by author and speaker Kevin C. Neece to answer that very question. Through The Gospel According to Star Trek book series and his The Undiscovered Country Project, Kevin poses questions about the spiritual significance of Star Trek as both popular art and cultural phenomenon from a Christian perspective.
